[Say this prayer 9 days in a row. “Novena” means “nine.”]
Begin by making the “Sign of the Cross.”
O’ Lord Jesus Christ you said,
“I require mercy not judgement.”
Through the intercession of St. Peter Faber
whose life was lived in quiet humility and mercy
for his opponents and enemies,
we beseech You grant us our petitions…
[Mention your prayer requests/needs here…]
• That we persevere in all our endeavors
with humble diligence,
St. Peter Faber, pray for us.
• That we live and conduct our business
by the faith we profess in Jesus Christ
with kindness and mercy toward all,
St. Peter Faber, pray for us.
• That we follow your example of highest regard
for loyalty and friendship,
St. Peter Faber, pray for us.
FOR CHARITY AND FOR TRUTH
Heavenly Father give us Your good Spirit.
FOR BUSINESS THAT GLORIFIES GOD AND BENEFITS OUR NEIGHBORS
Heavenly Father give us Your good Spirit.
FOR A CONSTANT DEVOTION TO SELF-REFORM THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
Heavenly Father give us Your good Spirit
Glory be to The Father,
The Son,
and The Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
so shall it be world without end.
Amen.
End by making the “Sign of the Cross.”
